Olympus E - P3 lens snapper permutation adds a small flash

EEE by gum, it is the E - P3! The Olympus E - P3 is the new flagship of the Olympic range Micro four thirds lens-swapping cameras, and it is the addition of a small flash - a pop-up flash, that is.

E - P3 is a 12.3 megapixel snapper which allows you to swap lenses for different situations and effects. The power of style and dSLR vintage kitsch should please shutter nutters and beginning enthusiasts as much.

Powerful features include manual control video and full high definition. During this time features such as a "live" practical guide and special effects, including Blur and colourful pop art, also make it easy to use for beginners. Click on through our photo gallery to see the E - PL3 in action.

Micro four third cameras lose within a traditional dSLR mirror mechanism, so they can pack features SLR in a much more compact body. The price of small size is usually a reduction in features and former Pen models lack one or two things that we would expect to be integrated - mainly a flash. Fortunately, E - P3 has an onboard flash, popping up from the left shoulder when you need to shed some additional light on the situation.

So unlike other cameras of pen E - P1 and P2 - E, it is unnecessary to choose between a flash or a sight because there is only space from that of the hotshoe. And if the pop-up flash is not sufficient, you can still bolt a larger flash in the hotshoe.

Olympus and Panasonic cameras using Micro four third lenses have the larger good start, but Sony has its easy beginner NEX range, Samsung has the line NX and Pentax has weighed just with the Q system - has a flash rather nifty - research of its own.

The Pen E - PL3 launches today alongside the Pen Lite E - PL3 and the Pen E - P3. The three new models will be on sale in the fall. A 14-42 mm kit lens, the E - PL3 cost a 800 £ rather overwhelming.
