Nikon Coolpix P300

MELVILLE, NY (February 8, 2011) - Nikon Inc. today announced the new the COOLPIX P300, first compact Nikon digital camera to a video by bunk wide-angle 4.2 x Zoom-NIKKOR glass lens (24 mm - 100 mm equivalent 35 mm) with a maximum opening F/1.8 to capture stunning, the tack-sharp images and Full HD (1080p) in a variety of lighting conditions. In addition to the NIKKOR lens at wider opening ever seen in a camera Nikon COOLPIX, the P300 is also equipped with a CMOS sensor back lighting of 12.2 megapixels and a complement to other Nikon core technologies designed to overcome even harder light.

Created for photo enthusiasts seeking the creative control but does not compromise image quality for portability, the versatile P300 features manual controls, (VR) optical vibration reduction technology and ISO up to 3200 sensitivity. These features help to create images with low noise and a faster shutter speed, minimize motion blur in conditions of low lighting as the portraits of the night, even when the Pocket PC.

Image quality in low light Conditions
Conditions for low-light demanding and creative barriers are no match for the new P300 COOLPIX. Superior image quality in low light settings is carried out by the powerful combination of the P300 to a 12.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, high ISO sensitivity and the lens fast f/1.8 wide-angle.  In P300 CMOS sensor is designed so that each pixel receives light more effectively for superior performance. Performance of the ISO of up to 3200 helps ensure that images have low noise and amazing clarity at the opening of the large increases the amount of light available to the sensor. In addition, special effects and a Creative slider mode mode will allow always more creative freedom when recording movies and images. Users can also adjust the speed of the recording of their films to apply slow motion or special effects to high speed.

In addition to the launch of the P300 COOLPIX today, Nikon launched also several other low light COOLPIX all stars today, including the COOLPIX P500 and the S9100. As the P300 and P500 S9100 capture sharp, clear images in challenging low-light conditions with specific detail with the help of their sensor CMOS of the arrière-illumination and the VR technology. The P500 also includes 36 first Nikon objective x Zoom NIKKOR ED glass optical wide-angle zoom control side and is versatile enough to capture photos that lack other cameras. The S9100 is a camera complete with a great power featured 18 x wide-angle Zoom - NIKKOR ED glass optical full high-performance in compact design, sophisticated for superior portability, which is just as elegant and useful.

Price and availability
The P300 COOLPIX will be available beginning March 2011 and will retail for $329.95* co-organize and will be available in black. COOLPIX P500 will be available beginning March 2010 and will retail for $399.95* co-organize and will be available in black and red.  The S9100 COOLPIX will be available March 2011 and will retail for $329.95* co-organize and will be available in black, red and silver.
